The Things at the Threshold is a non Chaosium Call of Cthulhu publication by Cthulhu House. It was released in 1992 and contains three connection scenarios forming a mini campaign. It was based off of the Lovecraft story The Lurker at the Threshold. I have not had a chance to play it so I can't really give any sort of feedback on how it plays.
From the back of the book:
"A dramatic chain of unsettling events over the past ten years leads to
wholesale madness. A complete campaign in three chapters - detailed
background for important characters - extensive, deluxe player
handouts."
"The human brain can be divided into two halves. The left side contains our powers of reason. The right side holds our subconscious, and the potential for madness."
"Go to the sign of Marvel's Axe, a dubious inn on the edge of the Thieves Quarter, in the City of Greyhawk, and look to your own wrist. If you perceive a bracelet and dangling dice, watch for the next throw in the war between Law and Chaos and be prepared to follow the compelling geas." -Signal
